LA GOMERA is one of the
smaller Canary Islands, which are situated off the African coast. This
island would appeal most to those who prefer a relaxed, easy going
holiday. The whole of La Gomera is criss-crossed by ancient tracks and
mountain paths, which make the island a paradise for walkers. La Gomera
is much less commercialised than some of the other islands in the
Canaries due to the fact that there isn't a large commercial airport.
However, there is a small airport which can be reached from Tenerife
North, and there is a choice of three ferry services from Los
Christianos on Tenerife.
The
apartment is situated in a quiet location by the sea in Valle Gran Rey,
on La Gomera's west coast. It is in walking distance from public
transport, ferry service and all other facilities, so a car is not a
necessity
