elevated in unspoilt countryside the family run caravan park commands
panoramic views of Cardigan Bay and Snowdonia and is meticulously
maintained by the owners, who also work the adjoining farm. The high

This wonderful holiday

worlds being within walking distance of the local shops yet far enough
away from the hustle and bustle of town life to provide a relaxing and
peaceful setting for your holiday. Bryncarnedd, once an important dairy
farm in the area providing milk to Aberystwyth and the local area has
since enjoyed a new lease of life having been sympathetically converted
into luxury self-catering cottages
We have installed an
amazing new open air large Hot Tub! What could be better after a
hard day sight-seeing than relaxing in the hot tub, overlooking the
countryside, let the warm bubbles ease your tired muscles!
Each
cottage has been named after a traditional farm building and has been
designed with care and attention to detail, providing you with all the
luxurious fittings you’d expect in a top hotel, but with the privacy and
flexibility of a fully equipped self catering facility. Each bedroom in
the cottages has its own private bathroom – some with Jacuzzi baths,
some with modern shower rooms providing an ideal solution for our

University when you think of visiting Aberystwyth or Mid Wales but we
have an excellent choice of accommodation at great value rates available
from mid June to mid September. If you are visiting friends, family, foe
or fancy a break we can offer single en-suite rooms for just £23.50 per
night or why not consider our self catering flats which are ideal for
groups and families and can be booked exclusively with up to 8-10
bedrooms, kitchen/dining facility and either en-suite or shared
bathroom, the more who stay and longer the break, the cheaper it is!

'The Old Dairy’ is
set in the heart of the Welsh countryside with outstanding natural
scenery in every direction. Built in the early 1900’s by the Lord and
Lady Lisbon as a milking house for their herd of cattle, the building
has a history and character like no other. The grade 2 listed building
has been lovingly converted over the past two years with many original
features still present. The cottages provide a very unique opportunity
to experience an unforgettable vacation.
Both the ‘Hawthorne’
and ‘Chestnut’ cottages are cosy yet spacious over two floors, where
modern design and furnishings complement antique surroundings. Each
cottage has access to its own private patio area with table and chairs,
ideal for revelling in the peace and quite of the grounds. There is
ample space for 3 cars outside each cottage.
Set in the grounds
of the Trawsgoed Mansion in Trawsgoed The Old Dairy benefits from
extensive local bridleways, footpaths and cycle paths (we are located on
the Ystwyth Trail long distance cycle path) that are excellent for
exploring the scenic local area. Whether you are looking for a romantic
walk, quality horse riding or cycling, the local surroundings has much
to offer.
We are located seven
miles away from the historical yet cosmopolitan Aberystwyth. With its’
Iron age fort the Welsh National Library as well as the 150 year old
pier and the oldest University in Wales, Aberystwyth has something for
everyone. For the more energetic we are 30 miles from the outstanding
Snowdonia National Park containing Wales‘ highest mountain ‘Snowdon‘.
Perfect for the keen hill walker or amateur climber. If that all seems
to much you can even catch a train to the top of Snowdon
