accommodation. To have the tranquillity of the water with a variety of
wildlife and the beautiful scenery to gaze upon, it is easy to unwind
and watch the world go by.
All the essential
facilities are provided to an excellent standard. Five bedrooms all with
ensuite are tastefully decorated providing televisions and tea/coffee
making facilities. We are tailored to look after everyone, offering
family accommodation with cots and highchairs. When you arise in the
morning a superb choice of breakfast awaits, from something light to a
hearty full English breakfast to set you up for the day ahead.
There is so much to do
for all the family, all within easy reach. Endless beautiful beaches
grace the coastline, ideal for a relaxing day out & the area is rich
with fascinating history and places to explore.
We offer an excellent range of meals with plenty of quality local
produce used for freshness and that home cooked taste. All meals are
served in the charming cottage style dining room or if the weather is
nice what better than to dine out on the waterside terrace. After a
satisfying meal you can stay out on the terrace and finish the evening
with a glass of wine and watch one of the beautiful sunsets as it
disappears below the horizon, or retreat into the oak beamed bar where
you can chat with other guests in a cosy
and peaceful environment over a glass of quality local beers or selected
wines or spirits.. |

and Brighton and Eastbourne have a 10 minute service through out the day

Fairacres is a
beautifully restored listed building located in the picturesque village
of Broad Oak, in the heart of 1066 country. The village is an ideal
location when visiting the historic towns of Tenterden, Battle, Hastings
and Rye and the large number of National Trust/English Heritage
properties and gardens such as Great Dixter and Pashley Manor
Fairacres holds a 5 star
gold award, and was the South East bed and breakfast of the year 2005 &
runner up 2007.
The house is full of beams
and inglenook fireplaces, with superbly furnished and decorated rooms,
which are full of character. We have a sumptuous four poster bedroom
with en suite shower room. There is also a charming garden room
with its own balcony and steps to the garden, this also has a superb en
suite shower room; and finally the delightful magnolia room with its
vaulted ceiling a large luxurious en suite bathroom with separate
shower.
All rooms are well
equipped with colour t.v’s, videos, dvd/cd players, radios, hospitality
trays, small decanter of port and sherry, hair dryers and trouser
presses, safes and, of course, the bathrooms contain all of your
toiletry needs.
Breakfast is served at the
family table in the inglenooked dining room, which adjoins the residents
sitting room, with direct access to the “italian patio” with its
delightful features adjoining the main gardens and orchard.
Our
delicious breakfasts are made with local produce wherever possible and
feature freshly squeezed fruit juices and home baked bread
We are more than happy to
arrange themed visits, for example arranging itineraries for visiting
places of your interest, such as gardens, castles, fishing trips and
especially walking tours. There is ample secure parking at the rear of
