We have two
self-contained cottages situated on the Cotswold Escarpment above
Cheltenham. In fact the Cotswold Way runs at the edge of the estate. The
centre of Cheltenham is 10 minutes away and only 10 minutes from the
M5. The cottages are an ideal base for exploring the Cotswolds
Nearby there are
golf courses and there is a riding stables within a few hundred yards.
The cottages share a garden which is for the exclusive use of cottage
guests. The local area had a number of country inns and pubs. Nearby in
Cheltenham there are a wealth of attractions including the famous
regency architecture, the renowned shopping, the theatre and the regular
festivals. Cirencester is just 20 minutes away and even Bath, Bristol
and Birmingham are within an hour's drive

Although the historic market town of Lechlade is
on the Thames near its source in Gloucestershire it is
also very close to the borders with both Wiltshire and
Oxfordshire.
A number of National Trust properties can be found
nearby and Kelmscott Manor, the country home and last
resting place of William Morris. Between Lechlade and
Burford lies the Cotswold Wild Life Park. Lechlade
itself is within the Cotswold Water Park where
activities include trout fishing, boating and water
sports and in the town there are antique shops, tea
rooms and restaurants.
Cambrai Lodge is in a residential location within easy
walking distance of the river and town centre. The
accommodation is of a high standard with lots of
off-road parking and breakfast is served in a
conservatory overlooking the garden. Twin and double,
