Rigsby Wold Holiday Cottage is just 1.5 miles West of Alford, a historic charming market town in the Lincolnshire Wolds - an area of outstanding natural beauty.

 Our holiday cottage is fully equipped, warm and sleeps 4 (in one double room and one twin room). This is a peaceful rural retreat, yet an ideal touring base, within easy access of Louth, Horncastle, Lincoln and many of the attractions of Lincolnshire including the delightful bird-song.

 There are numerous footpaths, bridleways and quiet lanes allowing you to explore on foot or by bicycle: the fields, the hedge-rows, the small Norman Church and the delightful Rigsby Wood, while listening to the local bird song, watching the wildlife and observing the great views stretching from the Wolds to the coast and beyond

Helsey House Cottages are perfectly placed to explore the rural coast of Lincolnshire and the Wolds.  Situated within the private grounds of Helsey House in the hamlet of Helsey near Hogsthorpe we offer two cottages converted from the orginal cattle stalls. Both are single storey and on one level with no steps and have been furnished to the highest standard whilst maintaining original features and character of the buildings. There is ample parking in the grounds. The owners live on site so are available for help and advice. We also offer Free wi-fi access.

We especially welcome families with special needs. We are parents of two autistic boys and have experienced interesting and challenging holidays in the past as a family. These experiences prompted us to set up our own holiday cottages within the private grounds of our home as we understand the stresses of planning a family holiday with children with special needs. Because of this, we will always try to do whatever you need to make your stay with us as relaxed and stress free as possible so if you have any special requirements please do ring us for a chat

 Hogsthorpe, the nearest village [5 minutes by car, 20 minute walking] has two pubs, one serving food, also there a restaurant open during the season. In the village is the Church and a Post Office/General Store. A Farm Shop provides excellent locally produced meat at reasonable prices.

 The Lincolnshire Wolds is a short drive away, and the coast with Skegness, Ingoldmells and Fantasy Island within a 20 minutes drive. If it is just sun, sea and sand you desire then Huttoft, Moggs Eye and Anderby Creek are peaceful havens. Skegness, Mablethorpe and Sutton-on-Sea are 3 out of only 83 European Blue Flag beaches UK wide. Wildlife thrives on the natural coastline and is a haven for birdwatchers, nature lovers and conservationists. We are ideally placed for exploring the excellent Walking, Fishing and Golfing opportunities available in the region

Bill and Val would like to welcome you to Grange Farm and offer three self catering holiday cottages which have been sympathetically converted from a former barn. They are brick built with exposed beams and brickwork, and the old original upper floor supports are still in place resting on the stone padstones. They are graded as three star by the English Tourist Board.

The caravan site is licensed as a Caravan Club Certificated Location, catering for five touring vans. All of our hard standings have electric hook up to 16 amp. There is also a grassed area for anyone preferring to be on grass
