The
Old Post Office offers a variety of stone built and log cabin style
rooms. We have Doubles, twins and single rooms available and all are
en-suite with showers.
The
rooms
are set in the garden on the house and each has it's own separate
entrance, there is plenty of parking and all of the rooms have tea and
coffee making facilities, Televisions and fridges.Every room has it's
own outside seating are too. Each
room is decorated to a High Standard and offers comfort, cleanliness and
quality.
Breakfast is taken in a purpose built room also set in the garden. We
offer a full English and lighter style breakfast. Evening meals can be
taken at the local inn which is just 2 minutes walk, the food is good
and the portions are generous, The Inn is old fashioned the staff are
friendly
The
Old Post Office is regularly inspected by the English Tourist Board who
have rated it 3 Stars. We
speak English and German but will try our best if you
have difficulty with these.
Situated In Ardley, near Bicester in North Oxfordshire, just 2 minutes
from junction 10 of the M40. We are in a village location but with easy
access to London, Birmingham, Oxford, Silverstone and the towns of
Bicester and Banbury. The Old Post Office is just one hour from London
Heathrow and Birmingham International airports by car. London Luton is
1hour 15mins and London Stansted and London Gatwick just one hour 45
minutes. |

village pubs / restaurants within 200 yards plus our own favourites off

places to eat. There are excellent walks from here and just across the
fields there’s a heavenly bluebell wood, which should not be missed in
May! Blenheim Park, 1 mile away, has a beautiful lake and a large
variety of trees and woodland where you can do a circular 3½ mile walk
with wonderful views
We have a village
railway station within five minutes walk which means you can leave your
car with us and travel to Oxford in only 10 minutes. We are perfectly
situated for visiting Oxford, Woodstock and Blenheim Palace. A local bus
goes through our village from Witney to Woodstock every hour
