Nestled into the Glen, overlooking the River Ardle and adjacent to the
Bridge of Cally, the hotel offers our guests all the amenities a
traveller of today has come to expect. We aim to provide a homely,
comfortable environment, complete with wood burning fire warming both
the conservatory
and the
bar.
Being located in the Heart of Scotland in rural Perthshire, there are
not many activities that can't be organised that are not within a
relatively short drive! We have some of the most beautiful scenery on
our door step and are happy to assist with your activity planning |
Perthshire offers some of the most beautiful and varied walking &
trekking available in central Scotland.
Whether it is a gentle stroll or a strenuous hike, the options are
available to everybody.
We have Munros (over 3000 ft), River bank treks and everything in
between. The Cateran Trail (The Caterans were reivers, cattle thieves
who flourished in the more lawless regions of the Highlands from the
Middle Ages until the 17th century) takes its course along the glens
surrounding the hotel. In all it covers 64 miles/103km and is,
unusually, a circular trail bringing you back to where you started.
Many a walker will stop at The Bridge of Cally Hotel as part of a well
earned break whilst travelling a section of the trail, or use it as an
over night stop

The Struan
Inn is a rare Scottish gem, a charming, authentically
traditional and rustic Highland village inn-style hotel. Built around
1863 when the main Edinburgh to Glasgow Railway line was constructed,

carefully and tastefully been converted to an Inn, with a lot of charm
The scottish

there are too few properties and experiences of this distinctive charm
and ambience, even in Scotland
If you

Struan Inn is wonderful place to visit at all times of year, with many
activities available
to people of all ages. From numerous walking trails of varied degrees of

Highland Village of Comrie, on the site of an earlier tavern, in the

Comrie, originally Gaelic speaking, has played host to other larger than
life figures including: Robert the Bruce, Rob Roy McGregor, Robert Burns
and Queen Victoria - whose stay bestowed the name of The Royal Hotel on
Comrie major coaching inn
