Market towns of Dorchester, Taunton and Yeovil and quaint surrounding
villages steeped with local history pubs and eateries are all in easy
reach. Near by Cricket saint Thomas wildlife park, Chard reservoir
fishing and bird watching and several golf courses just over the hill.

The Kingsway is an

and winter periods.
Three
types of room are available in the form of double, twin and family
layouts. A large guest dining area is provided where a varied selection
of food can be requested for breakfast or the optional evening meal.

The cottage takes it's
name from the cascade that runs from the lake on the hill above the
cottage. Edgcott Water that fills the lake then passes under a wooden
foot bridge that crosses the water outside the front door.
The cottage is spacious
inside and the sitting room and upstairs rooms have exposed beams.
Cascade Cottage is appointed with all the equipment you may need during
your stay. Well behaved dogs are allowed in the kitchen and utility
areas of the cottage as well as a partly bricked and gated yard beside
the cottage at an additional cost of £15 per dog per week or £10 per dog
for short breaks.
The cottage comes
equipped with 300 thread count bed linen and plush towels for your
comfort. A cake is provided for your enjoyment on your arrival and the
freezer can be filled with home made frozen dishes from our freezer list
to take away the strain of shopping and cooking during your stay.
Sometimes there is
just nothing nicer than having breakfast made for you. That is why we
offer the option to have your breakfast in our dining room at Edgcott

Our three Somerset holiday cottages offer a true ‘escape to the

The Courtyard
