both worth a visit. The Gairloch Leisure Centre provides many sporting
activities and there is an indoor swimming pool at Poolewe (6 Miles).

Gairloch you will find a great choice of pubs and restaurants, which
specialise in sea food dishes and other local fare, the nearest one
being the The Old Inn, just a five minute walk from the cottage. There

shore, sometimes coming right into the harbour. You can also see
Atlantic Grey Seals and Harbour Porpoises. If you are incredibly lucky

Set on
a wooded hillside in the magnificent Sutherland countryside each of our
five Lodges has a panoramic view of the glen below and the mountains
beyond.
The
hills behind the lodges offer many walks where you can stroll by Loch
Airgh Mhor and watch the birds of prey that hunt there. Golden Eagles
nest in the trees on the other side of the glen and Ospreys inhabit Loch
Fleet Nature Reserve - only eight miles from Highland Glen.
Within

overlooking Loch Greshornish in the north of the Isle of Skye.

rights to a private fresh water loch in the hills at the back stocked
